It's not a bad game by any metric except for being an assassin's creed game.

between origins, odyssey, Valhalla and mirage, odyssey is the one I like the most!

This game is amazing. But the reason why it received so much hate was because the old school gamers what a nostalgia trip they don’t like change well change a part of life and deal with it it’s not rocket science unless you make it rocket science

This game is amazing. It gets way too much hate and its mostly from UA-cam from a small minority from my experience. Odyssey is the spartan assassin experience in AC. It focuses on a protagonist 400 years before Bayek and Aya form the Hidden Ones. The game does what it wants and does it really well. If the game had been more like Origins, many people wouldn't complain. The soundtrack, world, protagonist, and the main story were all amazing to me. Stealth kill animations and combat animations were awesome. The game focuses on other aspects of AC lore that never get touched. I personally wish Alexios and Kassandra were both playable. If Alexios had been the older brother that was a mercenary and Kassandra was a protege of Darius, I think it would work. There would have to be a few tweaks to the story but Kassandra with a wrist blade and Alexios with the spear of Leonidas makes perfect sense to me. Alexios can have Ikaros and Kassandra have normal eagle vision. The map for Odyssey was never bloated for me. At least it's map doesn't look as cluttered as Unity. My opinion for any AC game is don't listen to reviews, especially those on UA-cam. Every game since Unity will sit a few years before people start accepting that the games are great. I think you perfectly stated what it's like for AC. If you like a specific setting or period, you'll probably like that game more than others.

I recommend using the original japanese stories of the sonic games and not english ones i understand you maybe dont know japanese and that is why you dont use them but windii has translated lot of the japanese cutscenes. (unfortunately most of her videos were deleted but there are some repost i have made a playlist of most of the reposts on my channel.) but other than that good video. There are also a few retranslated mods you can use. And the voice acting is just way better.

When it first came out I hated it skipped that year and went back to origins. Now it’s one of my favorites after ac3 and brotherhood. I still do believe if u removed the assassins name it would have been taken better

Naruto games went downhill FAST after this game was released

Bad???? This game has been the Holy grail of anime games, but overall this has also be the best naruto game they’ve ever released (with the inclusion of the path of ninja the prequel to the broken bond)

The localization i hate

I just started playing and it’s one of my favorite games. Personally I like it just as much as Baldurs gate 3

And that library can be expanded ten fold homebrew ports like Cuphead, Hollow Knight and most recently, Blasphemous. Let's not forget emulation too.

You should play Kassandra because the awesome voice actress work, not because she canon

I feel like this game has aged beautifully and I didn't expect it to but I enjoyed my last playthrough just as much as I did 20 years ago.

honestly the best description to gave Octopath Traveler 1 is "Theatric" everything plays like some sort of theater, from how the characters perform, the music, the static camera as if you're basically the audience Octopath 2 basically trying to shake everything up to be more "Cinematic" with far more camera movement, more characters animation, more practical effects, etc

I 100% Origins, Odyssey, & Valhalla and don't regret a single second.

Used to play this a a lot as a kid. Also played a lot of the Jedi academy with my brother. So many hours.

Avengers, i think, was a pretty good game. But it was an aweful live service game.

I remember renting this from blockbuster and having a great time lmfao my friend who had the game also came over the weekend I had it and showed me how to unlock broly. Was in like 1st grade PS2 era so game probably was ass but still I refuse to believe this was a bad game

For Danganronpa, I did decide to switch over and play V3 on the PS4 since it was marketed as a new Dangranronpa story I figured it was only fitting to play it somewhere new. Honestly, still an amazing time on console.

While it didn’t necessarily feel like an assassins creed game , I loved AC odyssey . Easily in my top 3 AC games . I’ve been a huge fan of Greek history and mythology since I was a kid so the setting was an absolute treat for me . Overall I put like 150 hrs into the game and had a blast the whole time . I liked the story , there was some really memorable side quest , good dlc , boss /monster fights were pretty cool actually , music was good and the exploration aspects were great

I may need to try this again. I enjoyed what I played. I actually played a lot as Cap but im still annoyed my boy Peter is stuck on PlayStation. Perhaps i dogged a poorly web swung bullet but id like to have him nonetheless. I ended up playing Gotham Knights as well and yeah after a few hours i just put it down. The game has no weight to it.

Is a Very mid "RPG" at best and a "decent" action at best, u have one of the most interisting moments of human history and u make the most generic game to ever exist, the open world is beautiful but is fucking dead, nothing happens on the world, no bandits, no animals hunting around, is just u walking around on a horse (that slight better then the one in witcher 3) to go to a place to see the most boring dialogue.

I’m a long time “old school” AC fan, while I do think Odyssey is great - the AC moniker was really slapped on to sell copies (ofc could be said for other titles). But Odyssey is a comfort game for me, I compare it to a fast food MacDonalds meal or similar. It’s ultimately a very shallow game.
